益

CHANGE FOR THE BETTER

CONCERNS: Increasing our higher qualities: service, love, awareness, goodwill; letting go of the desire to increase what has been conventionally considered good: money, possessions, approval, and power.

1. With the blessing of increased energy we can successfully undertake unselfish tasks.
2. We can become the creators of great opportunities of support and benefit by becoming attuned and receptive to the subtle energy of Heaven.
3. By behaving correctly in adversity, we gain strength internally and gain the trust of others.
4. We are served best by serving others.
5. Great spiritual growth occurs when we are truly committed to benefiting others.
6. We open ourselves to attack when we do not share our good fortune with others.

COMMENT: Increase that is shared is beneficial; increase that is hoarded selfishly becomes toxic. Accumulating assets at the expense of others, directly or indirectly, incurs a debt which ultimately will have to be paid. This deserves our sober thought, for there are no exceptions.
