THE RETURN OF THE LIGHT

CONCERNS: Rebirth, renewal, revival; the transformation of the old into the new; coming back into harmony with the Divine Order; the return of confidence, positive energy and creativity.

1. Departures from our path, errors, are part of the natural process of learning and development, but we must take responsibility for any deviation as soon as possible and not allow ourselves to drift negligently.
2. When we are sincere our deviations are easily corrected by realigning ourselves with the teachings and models which first inspired our course of self­-development.
3. “There is danger in continually deserting the good because of uncontrolled desires, then turning back to it again because of a better resolution.” ^[1]
4. Being internally aligned with the Divine Order, we faithfully follow the correct path even if it means that we travel alone.
5. That we can sincerely admit our mistakes without excuses and return wholeheartedly to what is correct is evidence of maturity.
6. If, out of stubbornness, we go too far down an improper path we invite disaster.

COMMENT: Renewal is always possible as long as there is something to work with; exhaust our resources or energy and no revival is possible. A finely developed consciousness of limits is a vital form of knowledge.
