EXPANSIVENESS

CONCERNS: Having great clarity, leading to alignment with the celestial order, consciousness expanded beyond the limits of the personality, graciously following the divine will.

  1. At the beginning of expanding awareness we may feel isolated and disconnected from our history. We can escape disorientation by being focused upon our tasks.
  2. Our inner power grows with increased equanimity and maturity.
  3. As we mature, we turn to serving our brothers and sisters; selfish motivations fade; we share what we have without calculation. We recognize that we lose through being avaricious and gain through generosity; though this is a fact, our egocentric minds view it as a lofty moral argument.
  4. In times of expansion we may be tempted by impulses to self-aggrandizement and competition. We should sustain increased expansion with gentleness and modesty.
  5. When we have great power and much to offer we have an obligation to radiate openness and accessibility so that others can approach us with ease.
  6. Those who achieve high spiritual development are modest and useful.

COMMENT: True maturity includes the ability to manifest Divinity.  When we expand our consciousness to include others without limit, when we are guided increasingly by the soul, we come into great possessions that can never be taken from us.
