GAINING MASTERY OVER POWERFUL FORCES

CONCERNS: The accumulating of assets, experience, information and energy through the restraining of impulse and expenditure; the development of the capacity to temper and sublimate energy; guiding diverse and collective energies in a positive direction.

1. We need to master ourselves and be steady; moving forward at this time would be premature, for our resources are not yet adequate to meet the challenge.
2. Voluntary restraint now will enable us to move ahead effectively when the time is right.
3. Attaining some mastery of ourselves, our minds and our energy, enables us to advance skillfully at this time and take advantage of the openings as presented.
4. The proper guidance of elemental energies is best achieved in the first stages of manifestation, before they gain uncontrollable power. Early discipline lays the predicate for later mastery.
5. Changing ourselves is difficult but easier than constantly battling with our impulses and desires.
6. Becoming masters of our energy dynamics allows us to direct strong forces and employ them creatively and constructively.

COMMENT: Until we have refined ourselves enough to respond accurately to the Divine Order, we must rely on an integrated personality and character.
